The problem we saw

Texas has thousands of wedding caterers — from high-end banquet halls in Houston to family-run BBQ operations in Waco. But there was no single place to find, compare, and contact them. Couples spent hours on Google, bounced between 15 browser tabs, and still weren't sure they'd found their best options.

And caterers? They were burning money on Google Ads, paying 10-20% commissions to lead services, and still not getting quality inquiries from couples who were actually ready to book.

We built WeddingBite to fix both sides of that equation.

What we built

WeddingBite is a dedicated wedding catering directory for Texas — thousands of caterers across the state, searchable by cuisine, service style, guest count, and dietary needs.

For couples: browse freely, compare options, and request quotes without giving your contact info to every caterer on the internet. Your request goes to the one caterer you choose — that's it.

For caterers: a free listing, direct lead notifications, and optional paid visibility upgrades. No commission. No per-lead fees. You keep 100% of every booking.

Our principles

• ✓Honest listings. Paid premium caterers are surfaced separately and clearly labeled as sponsored. Organic search results are ranked by relevance, not payment.
• ✓No hidden commissions. We never take a cut of bookings. Caterers pay a flat monthly rate or nothing at all.
• ✓Your data is yours. Couple contact info is only shared with the caterer you contact. We never sell or share it.
• ✓Texas-focused. We're building deep in one state before expanding. That means better data, more complete listings, and actual local knowledge.

Where we're at

WeddingBite launched in 2026. We're a small team — right now, it's essentially one person building this full-time and talking to caterers across Texas to understand what actually helps them grow.

We're early. That means we're still filling in caterer data, improving search quality, and building features based on what couples and caterers actually ask for. If something doesn't work right, we want to know.
